Leaders in Billings are working to transform the way the community helps victims of domestic violence, by putting government services like prosecutors and police under the same roof as non-profits that provide shelter and other survivor resources. They’re following what’s known as the Family Justice Center model, which was pioneered 20 years ago in San Diego and now exists in more than 130 communities nationwide.
